Learning to Mediate

            My name is Riley Jensen and I have recently learned and practiced skills needed to be a mediator. Mediation is a profession in which a person acts as a middle ground between people in an argument. This is a very good skill to have in life. Through my endeavor I learned how to mediate a conversation which I now believe is a skill everyone needs to learn a little more about.

            This project was began as a result of the Southern Utah Universities EDGE Program. The EDGE Program facilitated some great guidelines in which I was able to complete this mediation project. As a result of this project I will be able to have an edge on other applicant’s in the work force.

The EDGE Program

            The EDGE program is a program built by Southern Utah University to elevate the standings of its students. Each student is required to complete a 40-hour project that can be viewed beneficial.
